BELGOIL – Factory of oilseeds processing, refining, bottling, and transport of vegetable oils

The company was founded in 1991 and the factory in 2007 and is established as one of the largest vegetable oil manufacturers in Europe.

Its activities include the purchase and storage of oilseeds, trading with companies, licensed in grain trading, manufacturing, and trade with raw oils, refined oils, and sunflower expeller (pomace). The production is being realized in the local and foreign markets.

The factory is located on an area of 60 000 square meters, 12 000 sq.m. of which is built part /grain warehouses, production area, administrative building/. The company is buying and taking in for storage about 70 000 tons of oilseeds.

The storage area for raw oil is with a capacity of 6 000 tones, and the refined oil is being stored in stainless steel silos with a capacity of 800 tones.

The oil press uses the latest technologies and processes 300 tons of sunflower seeds for 24 hours. That capacity enables the company to buy oilseeds throughout the year.

Refinery capacity is 100 tons per 24 hours and includes all the technological stages: Neutralization, Bleaching, Crystallization, and Deodorization. They are carried out by the installation of the highest technological level, which guarantees excellent quality of the end product, complying with all world standards and Codex Standard for Named Vegetable Oils (CODEX-STAN 210 – 1999) / codex Alimentarius /.

The Workshop for bottles production and bottling has a capacity of 150 000 bottles in 24 hours.

The factory has its own laboratory.
The company employs 80 people. Revenues grow each year.
